From the lot we take the road, closed to the public, which takes us to Aljažev dom cottage I n a few minutes. From the cottage we turn down the turist path by the giant climbing pin, a memorial for the fallen partisan soldier climbers of WW2, through the valley under the majestic north face of triglav and the path soon brings us to a crossroad, where another path branches to the right towards Kriški Podi over Sovatna. We, however, continue straight on, following markings for Luknja. After a while walking by Bistrica we find another fork in the road where we turn right towards Luknja. The left path leads towards Kreadarica and Staničev Dom cottage over Prag. The path here becomes steeper and soon we leave the path to Luknja and turn right towards Bivouac below Luknja. We reach the bivouac in 15 minutes of walking through forest. |
