From Selška dolina or Bohinjska Bistrica we drive on Soriška planina. There we park on a big parking lot.

We start at the parking lot and orient on a macadam road which brings us to a hut on Soriška planina mountain pasture in 5 minutes. From the hut we continue under a ski lift where a marked way is located. Path brings us over meadows to a ridge where a fence stands. Here the path turns right and from now on two paths are possible. On a South (marked) or North (unmarked) side of the ridge. After 10 minutes both paths join together. Only a minute is left to the top from here. Mali Slatnik is a hill we just encircled. We drop from it back to the point where both paths join together. Path encircles a valley almost horizontally in a semicircle amd brings us to a millitary frontier guardhouse. Here is a small chapel. We orient towards West here and we step on an unexpressed ridge after some steps. Path drops a little from here and brings us to a crossroads. We orient to tirght and reach the top in 10 minutes walking on grassy slopes.
