We drive on a highway and direct towards Ljubelj and we turn right before the petrol station in Tržič. Then we soon turn to left and drive towards Begunje and Brezje pri tržiču. In Brezje we park on a parking lot near the church.

We follow the road towards Begunje from the parking place until it starts to descend. We take the road that branches off to the right to Bistrška pasture and follow it for a few minutes. We then take a left towards Dobrča (all marked). We then take a right along a fence on the foot path, which starts to ascend gently and leads us after a 20 min walk to a steep cart track. We follow it to the point, where the forest starts to get thinner. The marks lead us upwards and to the right to a drinking trough for animals (15 min). The path now turns left and ascends under the top of Vaško. We then reach a saddle beneath it and beneath the slopes of Dobrča. A small ascent follows to the end of the forest path in poor condition. The path ascends over a wide crest to the airfield on the south slope of Dobrča and we continue forward along the edge of the forest. As we enter the forest, the path ascends in turns and leads us to a cart track, which we only cross, on the height of about 1400 m. A road from Lešanska pasture joins our after a short ascent and we continue left towards the hut on Dobrča. The path leads us to the cart track again after a small descent and we soon leave it and go left toward the hut. The path mostly traverses the slopes of Dobrča west and we soon leave the forest on to Podgorska pasture, from where we can already see the hut. A small descent follows to it. We then return to the pasture and make our way towards the houses. We reach a marked path just before that leads us to the top of Dobrča. As we leave the pasture, we reenter the forest and continue towards the top. Two paths join ours just beneath it and we take a left at both crossroads. We reach the top with no trouble.
