We drive from Škofja loka to Gorenja vas. Just a little before Gorenja vas, behind a bus station, we turn right in Poljane. We follot the road after marks Javorje. Here we turn left and follow marsk towards Blegoš. Well marked. When we come to a crossroad we are on Črni Kal. Here we park on a parking lot.

We start at the parking lot and go in direction koča na Blegošu 3km. When we come to a crossroad after 3 kilometres we go left past the ramp. We have got just a couple of minutes from here to the hut. We continue walking on a meadow from the hut which is quite sober but then rises steeply. There are more ways to the top because of the big number of visits. Steep gets easier and we soon step on the top of Blegoš. It offers a nice view to Škofjeloško hribovje and Cerkljansko hribovje hills.
