We drive to Tržič and keep driving on the road going towards Jelendol. At the end of Tržič we turn right upwards in direction of Lom. Then we follow this road after marsk dom pod Storžičem. We park on parking lot couple of metres under dom pod Storžičem.

In the parking lot before the house is across the street, which is left in the direction of Javorniškega saddle and mountain Javornik. The road is approximately 20 minutes of walking into kolovoz. You can continue as marked walking path, which is quite abandoned or by kolovozu. I recommend walking kolovozu Monday as the guide is also easier even if not marked. Kolovozu, which climbs the steep track through the woods to saddlery Javorniškega. Here is a crossroads. Focusing on the left kolovozno path towards the mountain Javornik. Kolovoz forward in a slight climb crosses slopes Javornik us and after 20 minutes of walking leads to the mountain.
