We drive to Tržič and keep driving on the road going towards Jelendol. At the end of Tržič we turn right upwards in direction of Lom. Then we follow this road after marsk dom pod Storžičem. We park on parking lot couple of metres under dom pod Storžičem.

We start walking from the parking place along the left side of the meadow of the pasture Jesenje. A cart track soon leads us to a crossing, where a small house stands. We go left into the forest and reach a new crossing. We go right and take the path through Žrelo. The path leads straight over Škrjančev rob. A short ascend follows through the woods and leads us to a ravine called Žrelo. The path rises sharply here (dangerous, when wet!), at first along the ravine and then passes over into it. We reach the first protection soon. The steepness reduces a bit, but we soon reach a rock wall and climb over it. We come out of the ravine (through the ravine a helmet is obligatory, because of the falling rocks) and a beautiful view of the south side, where we can see Gorenjska plane, presents itself. Our path turns left and continues over a pretty narrow crest. The crest widens to the top and only a short ascent over wide slopes follows. Car - Top of Žrelo 2:00. Top of Žrelo – Vrh 1:00. Advised return: over Škrjančev rob (easier).
