We drive to Tržič and keep driving on the road going towards Jelendol. At the end of Tržič we turn right upwards in direction of Lom. Then we follow this road after marsk dom pod Storžičem. We park on parking lot couple of metres under dom pod Storžičem.

From the parking spot we walk by the left side of pasture. When we get to a little house we turn left into the forest. The path forward leads on Poljana. In a few meters we get to the crossroad again. We go forward(right = Storžič through Žrelo - very difficult path)). Soon our path becomes steep. At first we walk through the forest, but when we get high enough we get on the rocky part. We get on the crest where the way from Javorniški preval connects to us(we go right here). Now we are walking on the crest and then we get on the scree on the north side of the crest (the way on which we have walked so far). After a scree the path ascends rapidly. We go over a crest (slippery in winter!) and continue through a steep valley to the top (beware of the rocks). In the upper part of this valley, some protection catches are there for help. 5 minutes of walk left over a steep top slope of the mountain. There is a cross on the top and there is enough space. The view is very wide.
