We drive from Kranj towards Jezersko. In village Paloviče we turn left towards Preddvor. After couple of metres we cross a bridge and turn right just behind it. We go straight at next crossroad and left at another. We follow marks for Jakob at first. The road soon brings us to a parking lot at home of elder citizens. We park there.

At the start of the parking lot we orient on a footpath going upwards by the fence of pensionary home. Path rises steeply through a forest and brings us to summerhouse of Josipa Turnograjska after 5 minutes. Here a sign-in book and some benches are. Path drops slightly and brings us to a car track. We follow this well marked car track for 5 minutes to the point where we come on a road at Mimi refreshment room. We direct straght upwards in direction of Novi grad. Path brings us to a crossroads after 10 metres. We orient to right. We follow the road on the right through a forest for couple of minutes and then we cross a car track going on Jakob. Path keeps rising through a forest and again brings us to a crossroads. We orient to right on a worse beaten path (well marked). We come to a car track if we go straight. Our path crosses a car track after 5 minutes of walking. Path rises a little bit steeper and completely draws near a car track. We stay on this footpath which goes slightly left by the car track. We again come to a crossroads where we orient to right. Left path goes towards hut pri Franciju. Our right path brings us on a car track after couple of minutes. We orient to left and follow this car track for about 5 minutes all the way to the Iskra na Jakobu hut. There a re indicators between a church and the hut. Those direct us on a North side of the church in direction of Potoška gora. Path starts rising through a forest and brungs us to a crossroads after 15 minutes of walking. We orient to right here in direction of Potoška gora. Straight path goes towards Javorov vrh. We follow the right path and it brings us to rare forest with some nice views. Path soon goes in a dense forest and hides view to us. Path keeps rising soberly and brings us to the top where a bench stands.
