If we come from Ljubljana we turn right at the semaphor in direction of Kum. If we come from Trbovlje we turn left at the semaphor immediately after Trbovlje in direction of Kum. We follow the steeply rising road through village Dobovec till Lontovž. We park on a parking lot.

We start at the parking lot and walk on an asphalt road going into forest. A footpath towards Kum branches right after 10 minutes of walking. We orient on this road which brings us to the road again after 20 minutes of slight gradient. When we come to the road we orient to right and follow it for couple of metres to a meadow where we go right. Path goes by the edge of the meadow at first and then it goes into forest for a couple of metres. We come to grassy slopes of Kum after that. We orient towards chapel we see in front of us. Just after the chapel we come to a road and follow it all the way to the top which is only few metres away.
