We drive from Preddvor towards Jezersko. In village Kokra we turn right on a forest road (before a bridge) going towards Suhadolnik. Marked. Mark of the road is aproximately 7 kilometres. On the point where we turn right we are on the right side of the river (left bank). We follow this road towards Suhadolnik. There is a parking lot aproximately 200 metres before a farm.

We take the road that leads us from the parking place and past a farm. Our path soon leaves the road and returns to it, just before it ends. It then leads into the forest and to a crossing. We turn left and take the easier and shorter road. The path ascends gently through the forest, but becomes steep soon. Protection might help and caution is advised. The two paths now join together and we reach a clearing, where an old cottage used to stand. We take a right at the crossroads (left: Kočna) and walk for about 45 min to Kokorsko saddle. There is also winter bivouac (its open when the cottage is closed).
We continue on a steep rise towards North. We come to a crossroads after 15 minutes and turn right towards Skuta. The start of the path is relatively hard to find because it is hidden by grass.. We soon come to a narrow pass called Mala Vratca. Path turns left behind Vrata and starts dropping. We drop to a 100 metres height. This drop has some wedges (danger of slide). Path starts rising again and we can soon se little bivouac. This is bivouac under Grintavec and has 4 beds and is open all the time. We continue on a valley under walls of Grintovec. We come to a crossroads where we orient straight (Kamniško sedlo and Okrešelj right). After a couple of minutes we again come to a crossroads and here we turn right towards Skuta. The path now goes under the walls of Dolgi hrbet and we soon reach a more demanding part of the way. We have to climb over a small wall between Dolgi hrbet and Štruca all the way to the mountain crest. Since no protection is provided – be careful! A small descent follows then a small ascent and we reach the top in 15 min. Since the top is very wide, we can easily have lunch there and the view is beautiful too– as specially the view of Grintavec.
